"Flowers Blooming from Stone - Between Moments and Eternity"

The Changgyeonggung Palace Media Art Exhibition "Walking Between Moments and Eternity" is a special exhibition hosted by the Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation, where history and modern technology harmoniously converge. Bibimble was responsible for the core content of this exhibition, the "Digital Rock" section, recreating traditional scholar's rocks in 3D and implementing a CG narrative of flowers blooming from within.

Our ancestors believed that stones contained primordial images and eternal worlds. This project symbolically expresses the history of Changgyeonggung Palace—destroyed by war and fire but restored again—through scenes of flowers blooming from a tiger-shaped scholar's rock. It conveys a message of circulation where fragments of moments gather to become eternal history.

The scholar's rock meticulously recreated through 3D modeling and the CG animation of flowers blooming from it underwent high-quality rendering and was displayed through a 3-meter tall LED installation outdoors at Changgyeonggung Palace. Through this beautiful meeting of traditional cultural heritage and modern digital technology, it left a deep impression on visitors.
